My Year in Africa
Donation protected
I have always wanted to go to Africa and spend time getting to know the people, their culture and their livelihood. My year abroad is not so much about trying to change the world, but to give of myself and share my gifts and talents. I teach the 5th grade and know how important it is to invest in our children.
This page is not to benefit myself, but to give back...cliche, yes. But even if I/we can help one child in the next ten months, and make a difference in their life, this experience will have been a success.
I am making this trip alone, yet it doesn't feel that way, because I have the support of a lot of people behind me! Anything you want to give, is appreciated more than I can express in words.
Stay tuned to hear about the projects, ambitions and goals I have for the year ahead.
