Help De get back on her feet
Donation protected
As many of you have heard, last week Baton Rouge, LA experienced some pretty severe flooding. One of our nurse collegaues, De Harrison was affected by the flooding and lost just about everything. She has gone back to salvage what she could, but all clothing, furniture, home goods were lost.
De is a single mom and her son Braxton (who is 8) just started 3rd grade. I would love for as many people as possible to help De get back on her feet again and ensure Braxton can be a kid and not have to worry about anything!
Donations will be spent as De feels is needed, but will likely go toward basics like clothing.
They are staying with friends & relatives, but need to now roll up their sleeves and rebuild. De is one of the nicest people who would give you the shirt off her back and is very generous. Let's give back to De!
Please give what you can!
This was posted by Nicole Kupchik. I worked with De for years in Seattle at Harborview Medical Center. I saw her post on Facebook and everyone's comments and felt the need to organize something for her. She would never ask for help, so let's just do this!
