I am Rich Rossiter, the older brother of Jim Rossiter. His other siblings are Vicky, Scott, and Tracy.
Here's update on brother Jim (9/23/16):
After recent intense back and neck pain, Jim learned a few weeks ago that cancer has spread throughout his body, including his bones. He has a rare cancer titled Neuro Endocrine Carcinoma, metastatic to liver and bones. Jim has completed round one, two and three of chemo, and is now on a road trip to see family. His oncologist said, "Now is the time to take the trip". Jim will begin round four when he returns to Oklahoma. Jim said, "they are simply slowing things down". He knows his life on earth is short. He's very grateful for the morphine that helps with his pain.
Jim has been a painter His entire adult life. He is a veteran of the Marine Corps. His recent passion, that comes out of his own life experiences, had led him to begin pulling together a business plan for a non-profit, all men sober house for veterans.
Jim is deeply appreciative of the donations that have come his way. If you are able, please join me, and other family and friends, to cover a portion of Jim's miscellaneous medical, medicine co-pays and housing expenses. Big or small, any amount will provide quality for Jim. His daughter Amy continues to manage his finances. Thank you so much for your generosity. I know it means the world to all who love this man.
Note: Here's a ESPN recent story of another gentleman diagnosed with this rare cancer. It's a very moving brief video. Cut and paste the URL below into your browser.
