Reynolds Family Help
The following was written by Lori's niece Shea. This family has very deep ties to our rescue and we want to help them by sponsoring this fundraiser. Because we are a 501c3 all donations are tax deductible. Every penny raised will go directly to our dear friends the Reynolds family - Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue
In the early morning on June 15th , a fire broke out in the Reynold’s Family home. The Reynold’s Family has owned and lived in this historic house for generations since it was built in the 1700s. Jay and Lori raised their family and many pets in this home throughout the years. Through the strength and bravery of their son Jotham; Jay, Lori, Sarah and their current tenant Jay, were able to get out of the burning home. The house and everything in it has been destroyed. The family is mourning the losses of their five dogs Petunia, Piper, Rizzo, Walter, and Zuko and their bird Sancho. These animals were all rescues and the Reynold’s Family has always poured their heart and souls into caring for their adopted fur/feathered family members. This traumatic loss is a monumental burden to bear. On top of these losses, they must now deal with the emotional and physical labor, as well as take on the financial burden,, of medical costs and rebuilding their lives. Any donations to assist them during this deeply tragic time would be greatly appreciated. We are grateful for the love and support from the Woodstock Community. Please continue to keep Lori and Jay in your thoughts and prayers as they currently remain in the hospital.
Sincerely,
The Family of Jay & Lori
