Ashley and Courtney Hoy NF2 travel

Hello Friends.
Most of you know our story. It has been 13 years since Ashley and Courtney were diagnosed with NF2. We couldn't have made it through this without the support of the late Dr. Daniel Pieper and his collegue Dr. Danial Fahim and NOW Dr. Pieper's successor Dr. Jeffery Jacob as well as the people that God has put in our lives at just the right time when we needed their support the most.
My girls have been through so much in their life time and they have been courageous and wise beyond their years. I am so proud of them.
I spoke to a dear friend last night and she encouraged me to start a gofundme campaign, as it is unrealistic to think that I can work and save for this round of surgery and Physical therapy rehab in the short time that I have before Surgery on September 12th. The money raised will pay for the hotel cost, gas, bills that are due within this time frame and food cost. I will be on unpaid leave for 5 weeks OR as long as it take for Courtney to be able to take care of herself after this surgery taking into consideration that she may have a Trach and a GI tube for 12 weeks after surgery.
Ashley has a brain tumor that will have to be addressed in September. She will be having a Gamma Knife treatment (radiation) on September 20th. This will be done as the first step to stopping the growth of the tumor that currently requires attention. By Sept. 20th Courtney should be getting ready to be released from the hospital into inpatient Rehab. Courtney's brain tumor is one that has been addressed before that has grown back. It remained stable for quite some time but it is now causing her vocal cord on the left(?); paralysis. It has caused hoarseness, trouble swallowing, acid reflux etc.. Courtney is having a video probe and swallow test to be used as a baseline determining how much or how little use she has of her vocal cords. All the while I am here in Portage getting Caleb ready to start high school and working and saving for the medical travel and cost to be in the hospital (not working)
As her mother, I have no intention of leaving her side until I know that Courtney is able to maintain her independence so I can go back to work.
I thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Please feel free to share this campaign with all your friends and families.
With Sincerest Gratitude,
Kim, Ashley and Courtney
