Baylee's knee surgery

My name is Erin Piechocinski. I'm a recent graduate of a doctoral program who just started her first job in May 2016. I have a pile of student loans and other debt that I've been slowly chipping away at since beginning full-time work but unfortunately that means I have no savings. Recently my poor puppy Baylee ruptured the cruciate ligament in each of her hind legs and is having difficulty walking.

Since Baylee is only two, putting her down is DEFINITELY NOT an option for us, plus she is the only member of my family here in NC since we just relocated here from the Chicago suburbs. She is very healthy and active and the surgeon suggested we do surgery on both legs at once (meaning there is only one recovery period), plus it will save me between $600-$800. The overall surgery cost is estimated to be around $6,400, which is terrifying. 

This little pup is my family and means the world to me. She brings me comfort since I'm so far away from my family. I was in tears when she hurt herself.  When I heard the price of the surgery I about fainted. I have no idea how I will afford this but I know I must go through every option possible to make this happen for her. She has a long life ahead of her and this surgery will allow her to eventually be back to playing and running with her puppy dog friends. 

The surgery is scheuduled for September 14th, and we are working on getting the funds as soon as possible. I'm not asking for the entire amount because she is my dog and I recognize that this is my responsibility as a pet owner (from now on we will definitely be getting pet insurance), but any help so my girl can lead a happy, healthy life will be greatly appreciated.
