I am a disabled single mother of two amazing girls, one of which has just begun high school and the other third year at A major university. Currently in addition to my disability payment I began part-time work with use of my vehicle for a limited time.
At the time I was applying for disability and had to leave my career in my chosen profession, we downsized to the property we have been living in for the last 2 1/2 years. Last month we received notice that our landlord had begun evection proceedings on us and other occupants of the property in order to increase the rates. We have begun to fight this however, we have a very limited amount of time. We have been searching for a new and more suitable place to live but unfortunately we keep being pushed out by people with either higher income due to more than one adult in the home or better credit ratings even though we are capable of paying the rent. In a matter of 30 days I have spent more than $400 on Application fees alone.
I am battling with some very serious health issues and have some kind of scary treatment plans. I have a severe form of rheumatoid disease, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in my back and Gastroparesis, which causes me to have on there numerous times daily. As a result of these health issues I parked my car to excuse myself to a café because I knew I was going to be sick. 10 minutes after entering the café I walked out to find my vehicle, my source of income had a parking boot on it. I've tried desperately to keep my head above water and the water is just too high at this point.
At this time we need about $4000 to cover everything and to be able to start anew.
