Tammy Garcia's Fight For Cancer

Hello Friends/Family,
Many of you have met Tammy and some have not yet had the opportunity of meeting such an amazing person like Tammy Garcia. Tammy is one of those people that God brought to this earth to make it a better place. She is one of those people that when she enters the room she lights it up. Tammy is a very giving and passionate person that loves to help others and God only knows why this is happening to her or any of our loved ones going through cancer.
Tammy was diagnosed with a very aggressive stage 4 ovarian cancer in March, 2014. We were at the Emergency room a whole day and she had gone through months of testing before she had one too many visits to the ER and the doctor told her she had a very aggressive stage of ovarian cancer. Tammy’s faith in God leads her to meet the right doctor at the right time. Dr. Bristow one of the top leading doctors in the U.S. Dr. Bristow made a commitment to take care of Tammy and has done so since then helping her to find the right path for Tammy to get through the battle with cancer. Since that day Tammy has braved an uphill battle with never an ounce of self-pity. With the help of Dr. Bristow and Tammy’s faith and strength and the help of family and friends, Tammy was able to make it through the first battle and make it into remission.
In January of 2015, Tammy was in remission and on her way to a happy life with her daughter Cassie, but in February of this year 2016, the cancer came back and now it attached itself to her lungs. Tammy's journey through cancer treatment has had many highs and lows and she is in a place where we need to reach out to our community of family and friends and ask for help with her bills. This has been very difficult for Tammy to ask for help, as she is a very proud person. Her Church and friends are bringing her food and being supportive. The first round of chemo has not worked and has taken a toll on her body. She is now on a miracle drug only given to patience after three rounds of failed chemo. It will take time to know if the medication will work. Tammy will continue with her treatment over the next year. The doctors gave the diagnosis in April, 2016 of 12 months, which Tammy does not believe because of her faith in God. “God is in charge, not man,” said Tammy.
Our intention is to help Tammy with the simple things she needs until she gets to a better place health wise and can financially make things meet again smoothly like before. You can reach out to me Sandy at [phone redacted] or by email: [email redacted] if you have any questions or would like an update on Tammy’s condition. Tammy is taking calls, but she doesn’t always have time to answer, since she doesn’t always have good days and the energy to do so. Your help and prayers are truly appreciated and if you could please find it in your budget to send her funds to help through this time it is truly, appreciated.
