Bless Brylei's Little Heart

We all love Miranda, Jody, Angel and Brylei....this is well known. So today, Brylei will be having open heart surgery (Thursday, September 1st). She will have this surgery in Duke. This campaign is to help with the extra cost of medical bills and to also show this family how much we love and support them.

Brylei's story......
She has several congenital heart defects. None of which were diagnosed until she was 7 days old. Her defects include arterial stenosis of her aorta, transposition of the greater vessels with double left outlet, septal defects down and across along with other complications. She was airlifted to Viadent, where she underwent open surgery at 13 days old. This was 2006. She had a cath surgery at 4 and again at 10. Because of her complex anatomy and the repairs made in 2006, she has cow vein that acts as her pulmonary artery getting blood to her lungs. That is what she has outgrown and what will be being replaced. They aren't sure what they'll use to replace but there are a few options. It's just not a call they can make until they are in there. Because of the complexity of it all we are in Duke for this one.
