Gold Star Mom Julia Farrell
Donation protected
Gold Star mother Julia Farrell was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 4 months ago. Sadly she is losing her battle to cancer and was unable to plan for her expenses. She is currently resting comfortably in a hospice facility where the doctors estimated she had 7-10 days of life remaining. Her son, James, took her into his home in Las Vegas NV shortly after her diagnoses to care for her during this difficult time. Her daughter, Shanna, drove her mom from GA to LV and has been doing what she can to support her mother from her home in CA. Julia was checked into hospice on October 31, 2020 when her family was no longer able to keep her pain managed. She had decided weeks before that she no longer wished to pursue chemo treatments and wanted to spend her remaining days as comfortable as possible. She wishes to be buried in South Lake Tahoe, CA next to her late son, Garrett Fant, who was tragically killed during his Army tour in Afghanistan in 2011. Julia's family is humbly asking for financial assistance to ensure her final wishes are honored and any remaining medical/memorial expenses are covered.
