Ecuador Earthquake: Familia Gallo

Donation protected
We are tremendously saddened and shaken by the effects of the earthquake in Ecuador.  Last Saturday, April 16, 2016, the lives of our Ecuadorian people tragically changed with the 7.8 magnitude earthquake and the more than 100 aftershocks that have since taken place.  We are fortunate and thankful to God that our closest family members survived.  Our grandmother Orfilia Mero de Gallo who is 86 years old barely made it out safely but her house was left destroyed.  Our uncle Enrique who lived in an apartment on the first floor lost everything as well as our aunt Lucrecia.  In this house, my mom gave birth to both my sister Jackie and I.  We have fond memories of all of our family in this house.

The money collected will be sent to my aunt Alicia and she will distribute the money among our family members who have lost everything (12 people).  The money will be used to buy the most needed items: food, water, clothes, household items and medicine.  We are grateful for anything you can contribute to helping our family in Manta.

With all of our hearts we appreciate your help and please keep our family in your prayers.  May God bless you all!

Thank you,

Eduardo Gallo
