Diane L Holm Fundraiser - Benefitting Silver Birch Ranch
(please click read more below for all the details)
On October 20th of 2019, Diane found her way home to our Lord after a year-long battle with Cancer. Our hearts are indeed full, knowing she has been freed of her broken body and now sits with The Lord in heaven. However, even with that comfort, so many of us miss our dearest Diane every day.
Diane's hand was never tired from being outstretched to so many people and organizations throughout her life. Family, friends, colleagues at the school she worked for, her church and small group, her floral clients and so many others all benefitted from her gracious heart and helping spirit in more ways than we could list.
With that same helping hand and gracious spirit, we hope to continue helping wonderful causes that Diane cared about, in her name, while keeping the memory of her close to all who knew her in these future efforts.
How can you honor Diane's memory?
Annually from the date of her passing, Oct 20th, to her birthday Nov 24th, our goal is to come together and fundraise in Diane's memory.
The goal of this campaign is not just to raise money, but to share the light of Diane for 5 weeks each year and keep the memories we all have of her shining bright.
Regardless of any donation, sharing this page along with some of your personal memories of her would be a heartfelt accomplishment.

For those who aren't familiar with SBR and Diane's love of Camp -
Silver Birch Ranch (SBR) was a favorite place for Diane for many years. Silver Birch is located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and was a place of respite, renewal, and Godly transformation. Diane and Will supported the ministry, invited friends, and spent many summers with friends and family enjoying the beauty of God's creation and made wonderful memories with so many people. From water skiing and swimming, to helping in childcare and the craft room, to late nights laughing over board games, Di loved the weeks her family was able to spend each summer and winter at Camp. Her faith was shaped through both teaching and fellowship, and her young family learned to trust God in unique ways, try new things, and really enjoy nature- while being together. Both of her sons, Erick & Kyle, met their wives at SBR, and she was so grateful for the way Camp impacted all her kids.
Diane also loved the outdoors, especially while connecting to people and learning/sharing about God. So much of what SBR encompasses lines up with who Diane presented herself to the rest of us to be. A creator, a connector, and a servant of the Lord.
To Diane, SBR meant family. It facilitated an opportunity to know and grow closer to Christ.
It very much feels like a gift to Silver Birch is a great way to honor Di, year after year. As a family, so many memories start there, and it's wonderful to know that because of the generosity of those who love Diane, other children and families will get to experience the vibrant, fun, and life-giving experience that happens at Camp.
It is our sincere hope that by sharing in donating and sharing the memory of Diane, we can also help secure the love of the outdoors, and connection with God through their future experiences at Silver Birch Ranch as well.
If you'd like to join our fundraising team - please share the link to this fundraising page on social media, email and/or text message.

Thank you and God Bless.
