2ND ANNUAL ESSENTIAL WORKER RUN
Donation protected
WE ARE BACK!!
As we near Memorial Day Weekend, Yesenia Mata and I will be holding our SECOND ANNUAL Staten Island end-to-end run to honor essential workers. Both of us are soldiers in the U.S. Army Reserve and we want to ensure that all essential workers are thanked for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, we run will start at the Reformed Church in Port Richmond which earlier this week installed banners featuring 28 veterans from all branches of the military who served from World War II to active duty. We will end at the Conference House in Tottenville —a run of approximately 20 miles!
Essential workers, like soldiers in the National Guard, nurses, day laborers, first responders and those in transit, warehouse, retail, restaurants, and telecommunications have been on the frontlines of the crisis and have kept our city, state, and country running.
Sponsor a mile so we can raise funds to purchase meals from local restaurants to deliver to essential workers on Staten Island in appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
