Second Annual Get The Motor City Magnet Fishing Event

Hey everyone, it is time for the second annual Get The Motor City Magnet Fishing waterway clean-up event in Ecorse, MI. Last year was a great success with over 50 people in attendance. This GoFundMe aims to raise money to purchase Magnet Fishing Kits for children interested in cleaning up our waterways while enjoying a beautiful day on the river with family and friends. Last year Jason and Yvonne (Motor City Magnet Fishers ) raised enough money to donate 25 Magnet Fishing kits out to the local youth and in and around the Detroit area.
 

 

Our goal is to donate even more Magnet Fishing kits to local kids than we did at the previous event . Last year we had to limit the Magnet Fishing Kits to one per family, but we would love to raise enough funds to donate one complete Magnet Fishing kit to every child in attendance. This is an excellent opportunity for the community to get involved and help teach our youth about the importance of keeping our environment clean.

Magnet Fishing Kit- $40 (Cost of 1 Kit, donations can be any amount, all help!)





FOR EVERY PERSON THAT MAKES A DONATION, YOUR NAME WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A 1200LB Beast Box from Rouge Magnetics!!!!!!

-Gloves

 

Lots of stickers from YouTube channels from around the country will be handed out as well. If you would like to donate stickers for the event, please get in touch with us for the shipping address.

 

 

 

The event will include a presentation for the children and parents on Magnet Fishing safely, as well as all of the knowledge you will need to clean up the bottom of our rivers using your brand new magnet. In addition, many volunteers will be available to remove stuck magnets from the river! Finally, we are looking for volunteers to assist with face painting; if you're interested, please make sure to contact us!!!!!
