2nd Annual Mia D Williams 5k Cancer Walk and Run

Let's start with a huge THANK YOU! Everyone's support & well wishes toward the 1st Annual Mia D Williams 5k Cancer Walk/Run was successful & amounted to more than you know! Your support made way for BIG moves! The March4Mia Foundation is recognized as a non-profit corporation! Thanks to Mayor Tyrone Garner October 14th is now officially March4Mia Day in Wyandotte County Kansas City Kansas! Great things are accomplished with the generous and heartfelt support of us all!

The fun doesn't stop there! The 2nd Annual Mia D Williams Cancer Walk/Run is already well on its way! This year we are working to enhance the experience with the addition of a few extras, including a hot beverage truck! We are also looking to purchase a generator to power a sound system for necessary announcements & tunes while we walk it out! As mentioned, we would appreciate any support you can offer towards adding these features to the event!

KU Med Center Cancer Research & Oncology Departments will be the 2024 recipient of any additional funds raised! All updates can be found at March4Mia 2024 Facebook page.
