2nd Annual Old Woman Island One Mile Swim

Donation protected
Hello!
We are Sahand and Teresa (Friendly Owl Bed and Breakfast) on Saugeen Peninsula,
and this is our second annual Old Woman Island One Mile Swim in Stokes Bay.

Our first swim was in honour of all residential school children,
and sponsored local children's programs in Neyaashiinigmiing.

As families continue to break the cycles of intergenerational trauma,
we want to support programs that hold a space for them to do so.

This year we would like to support the
Kabaeshiwin Respite Women's and Children's Shelter.

Please join us this August 28th by donating, swimming, or volunteering.

For registration or more information, please get in touch with us at [email redacted]

Funds will be collected here via GoFundMe.
Given directly to the Saugeen First Nations at the end of the event.
They will provide the total to the shelter.

Receipts will be available after the event.
To request a receipt, please contact Jeannette

Thank you kindly!
