HANGIN WITH HADLEE ELIZABETH
Donation protected
Precious Hadlee Elizabeth made her surprise entrance into this world April 25, 2016 at 23 weeks gestation. She weighed 1 lb. 7 ozs. and is 11 ¾ inches long. Most premature babies face significant challenges both physically as well as developmentally. Not only does Hadlee face the normal challenges a premature baby faces, she also has neural tube defect. At some point in time she will have to undergo surgery to address this.
Hadlee is currently making her home at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Her mother, Robin Permenter, is staying right by her side. Now a little about my cousin Robin. . .Robin is not one to ask for help. She is a, I can make it on my own type of lady. I asked her if I could set up an account for Hadlee and she reluctantly said yes. She has realized she can’t do this on her own. Not only is Robin facing the medical expenses for Hadlee but since she is not about to leave Hadlee’s side she is not curently working so she has lost her income. She also has the everyday expenses of lodging, food, parking and transportation for the next 3 to 4 months until Miss Hadlee gets strong enough to come home. This journey is going to be long but we also know that God is the great physician so please lift this family up in prayer. Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated. The photo is of Robin touching her sweet Hadlee for the first time.
