Dad's Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Jen Latham and I'm fundraising for my Mom, to help pay for my Dad's medical bills. He was seen at the Adk Medical Center Emergency Room on May 24, 2023, had multiple x-rays, blood work, an EKG, an MRI and 2 CT scans. At that time, he was tentatively diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer and referred to Oncology. He was seen in Oncology on May 31, 2023, diagnosis was confirmed and Hospice was called in. My Dad passed away one week later, on June 7, 2023. My Mom does not have health insurance to cover the cost of the medical bills that are coming in, after the fact. She is currently responsible for paying a radiologist bill for $1,300 and a hospital/ER bill for $20,000.!!! The Oncology bill has not been received yet. My Dad was an amazingly strong, hard working, honest and kind man and was loved by so many. My hope is that we can raise enough money to at least make a dent in some of these bills (especially the bill from the ER visit). It's sad to me that the surviving spouse has to be burdened with so much, after the fact, while trying to grieve the loss of their loved one and navigate through all of the things that need to be taken care of. Our family will be forever grateful for any donations that you can spare. Thank you so much!
