Hi Everyone,
My name is Molly and I am desperately seeking funds to continue medical treatment for my family dog, Rudy (or as I like to call him, Rutabaga).
Rudy needed surgery after some garbage he got into caused a blockage in his small intestine, after surgery he developed pneumonia and has since been in the vet hospital. I know he is such a strong boy and can beat this, but the expense has become too large for my family alone to bear.
If you have ever had a beloved pet hospitalized I know you understand what my family and I are feeling right now, and any amount of money you can spare can help us ensure he has many more happy years with us.
Rudy has been a member of our family for nine years now. He is a rescued former show dog bred to compete--no one could have imagined how charming, personable, and loving he would be. The dog who once feared falling leaves in autumn and snow in winter (after seeing only kennels his whole life) now bounds around our yard in all seasons, mouth open, ears flapping, and tail wagging. He slowly, carefully takes treats from my fingers with his front teeth to avoid potentially biting my hand, and shows the same gentleness when crawling into bed for a good snuggle. Rudy is very close with our other dog, the much smaller Farrah: together they are a comical and sweet duo, and he is quick to protect her when the cat plays a little too rough (but just as quick to join in!).
In short, I cannot imagine life without him. He is an absolute dream and my best friend. I know my family feels the same way too. Please know that your contributions will not only go toward an amazing cause and an amazing dog, but also help spread generousity and kindness throughout the troubled world we live in today.
