Hello. We are Ken and Glynis Kintsel, part of a ministry in south Texas called King’s Way Center for World Mission. Our primary vision as a ministry is the activation and mobilization of followers of Jesus Christ with a vision for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Since 2013 King’s Way has served as the host of the Service Office for the new Spanish version of the well-known Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. For more than forty years now this amazing, college-level course has played a major role in the US and abroad contributing to the activation of tens of thousands of followers of Jesus for the cause of world missions. Glynis and I as part of the Service Office team are involved on a full-time basis working to plant and nurture new Perspectives Study Programs in many, and eventually all, of the Spanish-speaking countries of the world.
As you can imagine, the opportunities for helping plant the Perspectives Study Program in around twenty countries are almost limitless. We have already seen programs sprout in Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Spain, Colombia and Bolivia, and later this year and next the team of which we are part will be launching new efforts in Argentina, Peru and the Dominican Republic. As you can imagine, there are many opportunities for growth and expansion constantly knocking on our door; and the need for increased financial support has now reached a critical point. It’s a great problem to have, however, and we are asking God to supply the need for these additional finances through those who share this same vision of obedience to the Great Commission.
Perhaps you would like to have a part in helping us and our ministry team start new Perspectives Study Programs in the Spanish-speaking world. We are currently raising funds for an upcoming class in Argentina next month, and plans are underway for classes in several other countries in the first half of 2017. Our present fund-raising goal is $10,000. To do everything that needs to happen this next year we are going to need more than that, but we feel that for the rest of 2016 and on into next year, this amount is a good goal to start with. Will you prayerfully consider helping us? The Spanish-speaking church is coming alive with the vision of foreign missions at this time in history, and the Lord is using Hispanic cross-cultural workers to go to many places where millions are still waiting to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the very first time. The Perspectives course is a major tool in helping activate these believers and is an effective tool in getting them headed down the pathway of cross-cultural ministry. Your gift to help plant the Perspectives course in the Spanish-speaking world is a strategic investment toward the goal of fulfilling the Great Commission and a genuine opportunity for your own personal involvement in sharing Christ with those who haven't heard as well.
