Help Brant's fight against cancer!
It was with a heavy heart, and tears in our eyes that we learned Brant had been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, and is now in a fight for his life…quite literally. He has been through many surgeries since February, and recently started chemotherapy in an attempt to head off this terrible diagnosis. We all know the toll chemotherapy can have on a person, and while I know Brant will meet it head on, and even lean in to it a little, it’ll be a tough fight, not just for him, but for his wife and children as well.
For many, he has been a good friend of 20 years, sharing the highs and lows of life. For even more, he has been a steadfast member of the community, willing to lend a hand to those that needed it and help as he could. For some of us, he has been a fellow classmate for the last 1.5 years, fighting hard to get through a tough program, bringing a much needed calm presence to an often frenetic pace.
Most importantly though, Brant is a loving father of four beautiful children, and husband to an amazing wife. No matter how we have come to be acquainted with Brant Morrow, we all know that he has had an impact in our lives; sometimes small and passing, sometimes large and long-lasting in it’s effect.
Brant is one of those people that is as comfortable replacing the brake system on a vehicle as he is having a midnight discussion about faith and life, after having spent the last 12 hours studying. He is slow to anger, quick to help, and does his best not to burden others with his problems.
We can help in our own small way by donating to Brant and his family to help with medical expenses associated with fighting an aggressive form of cancer, supporting his family in a time of need, and with the unforeseen financial burdens that inevitably arise when you are simultaneously trying to beat cancer, and still attend Physician Assistant school. This money will directly help Brant and his family in their fight against melanoma.
Thank you all for taking the time to read through this, and thank you for your kindness and generosity.
