Launch Cameron into their Future

Hello, my name is Cameron Applewhite.
I am a disabled, black, trans, non-binary Jack of all Trades with a huge heart, a big dream, and a toxic family. I have been away for college for 2 full years, and have changed in ways I never expected. Even before I left to pursue my education, I was very open about my identity and who I was, but it was never accepted within my family. I love them, but because of our conflict, my mother has given me an ultimatum: I have to move out. I now have 15 days to find a place to stay.
I have been working with a disability coordinator in my state to gather the resources I need to safely launch myself into this society; by securing employment, housing, and access to the tools I need to maintain mental and physical health. The process has been going very well and we’ve been able to identify the areas that I’d work best in, but now our timeline has been distressingly shortened.
To obtain an apartment, I need at minimum $2000 to pay a security deposit and at least my first month’s rent. While I hope to have work within the month, realistically within this pandemic it’s quite possible that it will take longer to gain employment. The above goal will help a great deal to make sure I can stay housed, stay fed, pay utilities and begin to acquire basic needs like a bed, desk, etc.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. If you prefer to send help via other platforms (Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp), please reach out to me so that I can share that information with you!
