Susan's Fight

I've had the pleasure of crossing paths with Susan in my clothing business. We grew close, became friends, and bonded. At the moment we met Susan discovered she was now facing breast cancer....again. She had undergone a mastectomy 8 years ago to remove the cancer found. New diagnostics have revealed that not only is her breast cancer back, it has metastasized (spread) to her bones and possibly other organs. She's now in pain daily and is mentally exhausted. She's a single mom to a beautiful and most outgoing 8 year old boy, Justin. He's her whole world. In the midst of all these life changing events she now has lost her job. She now is facing her treatments, upcoming surgeries and endless appointments all while worrying how to pay for her condo that's she's proudly owned for 18 years and her bills. Her son Justin knows his mom is sick and the family is completely shaken by all this news. Susan needs to be fully committed to undergoing her treatments and spending time with her son, not worrying about how then electrical bill will get paid this month. God is good, I know as a community and coming together we can make a huge impact for this amazing person who shines so bright, smiles through it all and has a heart of gold.
