   Grandma Donna

Grandma Donna to 15 grand kids Mom to five of us and Great grandma to 1. Growing up she was always there to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on 24/7. She has never turned down anyone who needed help family or friend. She always put herself last to make sure we all had what we needed and wanted. Home cooked meals on the table and clean clothes on our backs. Growing up there were 5 kids in a small house but she made it a home for all of us including any and all of our friends that came over were given the same love and attention. We are reaching out for support to help her with her bills that have started to pile up. Our mom has always worked 50-60 hrs. a week 6-7 days a week doing whatever needed to be done to make ends meet. Now she found out she has stage 4 cancer she is unable to work anymore. She spends her time reading the bible and staying positive and focused on her recovery from this terrible disease. She has taught us to always be true to yourself help others and do your best no matter what and be proud. The time has come for her now to be taken care of with a helping hand kind words and a loving touch to help her get through this journey. I can remember as a kid when I was sick she would always take care of us no matter how tired she was it never showed. The touch of her warm hand on your forehead to check your temperature and a soft kiss on your cheek with the words I love you sweetie made you know you were loved and in good hands. Now it’s time for her to have the touch of a warm hand on her forehead and a kiss on the cheek with the words we love you mom (gram-ma Donna). There was also a time I remember having Thanksgiving dinner at her house. She saw a police car parked outside down the road a little. She put a dinner plate together and sent one of us to bring it to him so he would be able to enjoy a good meal that night also. That kind of gesture was normal for her. She has the biggest heart and the softest touch out of anyone I have ever known or meet. If you could find it in your heart to help then we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for taking the time to read this. God bless and thank you.
