Medical fund for Clayton Lee

Friends and loved ones, my father Clayton Lee was in a motorcycle accident near Eads, Co. on Saturday, September 17th, he was transferred via ambulance to Lamar and subsequently flown to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Co. He immediately went to surgery for a spleen injury which was found to be shattered and a liver laceration was also identified. Due to the extreme loss of blood from those injuries they removed the spleen, gave blood transusions and packed the abdomen to hopefully stop the bleeding from the liver laceration. They have the abdomen open as of now and are planning to go back to surgery tomorrow (Monday) to remove the packing and close the abdomen. Should the liver still be bleeding tomorrow they will have to do a liver resection. This is one of their primary concerns. It looks as though he took the trauma from the accident in his chest. So he has several lung contusions and is on a ventilator, one to help the lungs heal, two for the surgeries he has had/still needs, and three to keep him sedated because he also has a cervical spine fracture. The lungs are probably the primary concern due to the risks associated with being on a ventilator and the trauma to the lungs which could lead to pneumonia, long-term venitalator use, or even a tracheostomy. We are still in the waiting game to see how his body responds. Lastly, the spine injury, it sounds as though they may do a surgical intervention sometime this upcoming week to stabilize the fracture. When they reduce his sedation meds, he is able to move his feet which is a good sign. We are still waiting to see the neuro-spine physician to learn what the game plan for the spinal fracture is. Prayers are much needed!
Sadly, my dad does not have medical insurance due to the high premiums since he has had major cancer in the past, this along with him being self-employed is a concern. I am setting up this page in hopes that you may be willing to provide some financial assistance to help with his household bills and medical expenses during this stay. We are in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit and will likely be here for some time. If you cannot provide financial assistance I ask that you pray for his salvation and God's intervention during this time. Thank you and we love you all!
