RIP Andre Brown Funeral Fund

Andre Brown was a smart, outgoing, loving, caring and the funniest guy to be around. His personality is one of a kind. He lived in Tampa but recently moved to Colorado 9 months ago and then came down Labor day weekend to celebrate his 39th birthday, celebrate his parents anniversary and to catch up with friends and family. He is an only child but had many people who loved him like a brother. He visited his parents when he first arrived on Thursday, September 1st. Friday, September 2nd, we went to the mall so he could buy some outfits, ate some good Chinese food at the food court and then we dropped him off to get his hair braided. Saturday night, September 3rd he came to my house, we sang happy birthday with cupcakes and then we headed out to celebrate his birthday. We had a blast, dancing, laughing catching up, eating, just such a great night. Two days past when we didn’t hear from him, then I received a call from his father saying Andre was in the ICU with heart problems and walking phenomena in both lungs. This was so shocking and devastating because we were all just dancing and partying a couple days prior and he seemed perfect and never mentioned anything was wrong. I went to the hospital right away and when I got there, his father said he needed a Heart Transplant. The doctors said he was only using 30% of his heart and shortly after arriving at the hospital he was only using 10% of his heart. They made arrangements to transfer him to TGH to get the heart transplant. He was in a medically induced coma and when the nurse woke him up for the first time, he responded and did exactly what she asked, they had to put him back in the medically induced coma due to his heart and breathing. A few days later they said he was having problems with his Kidneys. He remained in the same situation for a few days and we were still expecting him to get prepped for a heart transplant. Then Thursday evening September15th around 10pm, Andre's father received a phone call from the board of doctors saying that they will not do the heart transplant. They said all his organs were shutting down and he is too weak to perform the surgery. They said to say your goodbyes. How do you say goodbye, it was one of the hardest thing we ever had to do. Andre Brown passed away Saturday, September 17,2016.
We are trying to raise money to give Andre a proper Funeral, his parents are disabled and on a fixed income. We will be so thankful and humbled by any donations you can spare.
He is survived by his mom and dad, James and Kathy Brown, his Aunt Donna Villegas and his cousin Jawontus Peay.
