Broadway, Here I Come!!

Hello!! My name is Rebekah. I am 11 years old and I have been dancing since the age of three. In the last 8 years, I have been training in tap, jazz, ballet, and acro. I have participated in numerous competitions and conventions. I have won multiple top awards regionally and nationally. I love to dance and it is my passion.

I am trying to raise money for a dance intensive in NYC on BROADWAY. At one of my competitions this season I won a partial dance scholarship to go train in New York City for a week this summer. This is a dream come to for me!! I will train with the top Broadway dance choreographers. At the end of my weeklong training I will get the opportunity to perform in a musical on the Lion King Stage. I will perform in front of casting directors and agents looking for new talent. This opportunity will be my first professional experience in dance! The program will also allow me to meet other talented dancers from all over the world and experience NYC for the first time!

My mom is a schoolteacher and also works many additional jobs to make my dreams possible! I am trying to help her with the cost of this trip because I know it's very expensive. I am going to hold a carwash with my dance studio and even have a yard sale!! I would really appreciate any donations to this site to help me get to NYC!

Becoming a professional dancer has been my dream since I first started dancing, and this intensive would be a big step in that direction!
