Tom Gilles Memorial/Family Support
Donation protected
The Gilles family has touched many lives over the years. Tom Gilles loved the mountains, skiing, and spending time with his family. He will be sorely missed.
Unfortunately, we lost Tom who was a wonderful father, husband and friend. He leaves behind his loving wife, Alison, and four beautiful children, Wyatt, Lucas, Ethan, and Emery. This campaign is to ease the financial burden placed on the family. This will serve to pay for funeral and living expenses, giving the family much needed time to grieve. Your kindness is much appreciated!
Message from Alison Gilles (Tom's wife)
You know that quote you see about how you never know what someone is going through, so be kind?? It rings truer today for my family more than ever. For the last year my wonderful husband, the kindest man I know, has been struggling with severe bi-polar with depression and psychosis. He has been in and out of the hospital several times and we have been fighting to keep him alive. Today we lost that battle. He took his life this morning and we are devastated. The kids and I are so thankful to the outreach of support and kindness from everyone. Thank you all so much. We have a lot of healing to do and a lot to figure out. But again, thank you to everyone. Your support and love is appreciated more than you know. I know many of you had no idea any of this was happening in our family, just like this or something else could be happening in anyone's. So please remember, to show kindness and love, to everyone. Life is short and there should be more love to go around. God Bless I am tagging Tom to inform his friends here on facebook. RIP babe, I love you!!
