Makenzi's ongoing health issues

Friends and Family,
As many of you know, my beautiful daughter Makenzi has spent many years battling several challenging health issues; epilepsy, gastrointestinal issues requiring a gtube for nutritional supplementation, repeated episodes of cdiff, and bacterial and fungal infections in her blood, just to name a few. The last couple years have been particularly rough, and recently she had an illness that put her back in the hospital for a short amount of time, and time spent at home recovering, has kept her out of school, and myself out of work.
So here is where I could use some help. The financial strain that I have encountered is growing. Makenzi's medical bills are starting to add up, as well as daily expenses, coupled with the fact that I have needed to take time off work to be with her, has completely drained my account.
I feel embarrassed and ashamed that it has come to this, but the fact of the matter is plain and simple........
......we need some help!!
Makenzi is improving, and will be back up and running soon. Your generosity will help to keep us afloat, as well as give a bit of a cushion in the event that she becomes sick again.
