Pelvic Predicament Poses Problems

My name is Trey Hinton. I am 55 years old. Saturday August 13th I wrecked my bicycle. I was unable to move, so 911 sent an ambulance. A 7 mile ambulance ride cost me over $800.I cracked my pelvic circle on 5 places. I was admitted in the hospital Saturday and was released Wednesday. The hospital stay was around $20,000. I am a waiter at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It is a good job and I have been there for 13 years. I have invested in becoming a real estate agent and been trying to get that off the ground while working odd jobs to make ends meet. I have 2 beautiful children and a loving wife with special conditions. Her medicine (which without she will die) costs $1200 a month. I have not drawn a paycheck since August 19th. The bills continue to come and we have had a rough couple of years so all of our emergency fund has dwindled to nothing. There is no chance for disability because I won't be out of work a year but I will be out until at least November 15th. At this point they really don't know because I broke my neck back and legs in 1980 in a near fatal car wreck and there seems to be trouble with the old breaks and this new one. I need to raise at least $30,000 to cover my family's living expenses medical bills and medicine for my family until I can get back to work. My son has asthma also.I have never drawn unemployment or disability, I have never qualified for any of the social programs so doing this is very humiliating and embarrassing. I can't go back to work without a full release and I am trying to earn whatever I can however I can. I am on the brink of loosing everything I have worked so hard for. I am a Christian and this accident has taught me a number of things and I promise to pray for each and everyone of you. Pelvic fractures are a long and painful process especially with my other injuries. My wife, a dual transplant recipient and legally blind has picked up some ways to help and my 16 yo daughter is working in a local fast food establishment. I am looking for anything I can do until I can go back to work. Based on my expenses this is just to get us by. God bless! The Hinton's!
