• Le 2e puits sera construit en mémoire d’Ibrahima Barry à Mamou, Guinée.
• Le puits sera installé sur un terrain cédé pour un accès au public par la famille Barry et qui se situe face à une école primaire publique avec 1370 élèves.
• Cela donnera accès au puits à plus de 3000 personnes, 3 fois plus de personnes cette fois-ci !
• Le puits sera l’unique dans le quartier, accessible et gratuit au public.

• The well will be built on land donated by the Barry family to serve the community of a school with 1,370 children.
• This well will be accessible at all times and free of charge to almost 3,000 people in the community, 3 times as many as our first well!!

Nous entamons la deuxième phase de notre projet de 2 puits en Guinée à la mémoire de Mamadou Tanou Barry, Ibrahima Barry et au nom de toutes les victimes de l’attentat de Québec du 29 janvier 2017. Nous souhaitons poser ce geste pour l’amour des 17 enfants qui ont perdus leurs pères dans ce crime haineux.

Mamadou Tanou Barry, marié et père de deux enfants, et Ibrahima Barry, marié et père de quatre enfants, sont deux des six victimes de l'attentat de Québec du 29 janvier 2017. Ils sont tombés sous les balles d'Alexandre Bissonnette alors qu'ils se trouvaient à l'intérieur du Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec.

Mamadou Tanou Barry voulait assurer un approvisionnement permanent en eau potable aux habitants de son village natal en Guinée. Il envoyait régulièrement de l’argent en Guinée à cette fin. Nous continuons dans la réalisation d'un deuxième puits dans cette optique.

Grâce à votre soutien et l’aide et à la coopération de leurs familles au Québec ainsi que celle de leurs proches à New York et en Guinée, nous poursuivons la réalisation de ce projet, ce rêve de vie.

Joignez-vous à nous dans la commémoration de toutes les victimes de cette tragédie. Faisons en sorte que cet acte haineux laisse des traces positives dans le monde et que les victimes continuent à vivre à travers nos actions. Votre don contribuera non seulement à la construction d’un système d’accès à l’eau potable pour des milliers de personnes à travers 2 villages, mais participera aussi à un témoignage vivant de l’humanité des citoyens québécois et de notre solidarité avec les familles victimes.

Dans l'éventualité et l'espoir que vos dons excéderont le montant, nous allons continuer de contribuer à la création des puits en Guinée, au Québec et dans le monde nécessitant de l'eau potable.

We are preparing phase 2 of our project to build 2 wells in Conakry, Guinea in memory of Mamadou Tanou Barry, Ibrahima Barry and in the name of the other victims of the terrorist attack of Quebec on January 29th, 2017. We hope to achieve this for the love of the 17 children who lost their fathers in this hate crime.

Mamadou Tanou Barry, married and father of 2 children, Ibrahima Barry, married and father of 4 children, were 2 of the 6 victims of the terrorist attack in Ste. Foy, Québec on January 29, 2017. They were shot to death while at prayer at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec by Alexandre Bissonnette.

We learned that Mr. Mamadou Tanou Barry was trying to build a public well in his birthplace, Labé, Guinea and had been sending money to family to aid in the construction.

In collaboration with the victims’ families in Québec, New York and in Guinea, we are working to complete this project of 2 wells and in doing so, realize this lifelong goal.

With your support, we can ensure that the memory of these victims, our fellow citizens, are honored in the completion of this project.

Join us in this  endeavor on behalf of the citizens of Quebec and Canada, commemorating all the victims of this tragedy and in the name of the 17 children who were left fatherless in this attack. Any financial contribution is welcome and needed. Your thoughtful donation will not only contribute to the building of a sustainable water system for thousands of people but will also live on as a testimony of humanity and of solidarity with victims’ families.

In the event and the hopes that this fund exceeds the needs to fulfill the project of the 2 water systems, we will continue to pursue this mission in Guinée, in Québec and wherever access to fresh water is needed in the name of the victims and their families in Sainte Foy, Québec.
