Help Build the Community Clay Studio!

Join us in finishing the build out of our newly expanded community clay studio at Ashland Art Center. Any donation will help make an impact!

The clay studio offers classes to over fifty students a week, and membership access for clay enthusiasts. As one of the only community clay studios in the region, it serves people of all ages and experience levels, and fills a vital role of making art accessible to all. 

As the clay studio continues to grow with larger classes and an ever expanding membership, volunteers have been working hard to expand our physical space to keep up with demand. 

We're close to finishing the first phase of expansion, but we need your help to make the new space fully functional. We need funds to:

First:
- Build three new work tables to provide added classroom space
- Purchase and plumb a second sink to reduce class time congestion
- Purchase and build shelving for pottery in progress

If funds permit:
- Build countertops and materials storage for glaze area
- Purchase two more pottery wheels to increase availability
- Purchase an air filtration unit to maintain a healthy environment
- Replace dim old lighting with brighter energy efficient LEDs
