Help me get back on the Road

My name is RD Armstrong (the RD stands for Raindog) and here's my story: for the second time in 6 months my car has been stolen. The first one was a 2000 Honda CRV and the second was a sweet little 1999 Honda Civic which I've owned for a week and a half! I need a car to get around town and go to readings etc. Yeah I'm a poet and a publisher of poetry and that's how I make a very modest living. It's a sparten, break-even life. And without a car it won't be "break-even" for long...it'll be broke.

If I can raise at least a couple of thousand dollars, I can get another car, plus pay the registration, etc. $3000 would mean I could buy a better, newer car. I need to raise the money as fast as I can (I have doctor's visits coming up and a couple of readings too). 

I will be happy to give each donor/patron a gift of poetry books that I have published over the years. Beyond that and my undying thanks, I have very little to give back. I hope that is enough (I'm open to suggestions, otherwise).
