James Poppell Age 13 Mass on Brain

James Poppell, the 13 year old son of Pastor Mike Poppell and his wife, Cheryl of Lyons, Georgia is in the Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
On Thursday, September 15,Pastor Mike's son, James was taken to the doctor due to him having severe headaches. Eye dr saw severe swelling of optic nerve that led to a CT scan which showed fluid. The MRI scan showed a mass (tumor) in the 4th quadrant of brain and fluid build up (due to tumor blocking drainage).
On Monday, September 19, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor and fluid. James will be hospitalized for 2-6 weeks. This Go Fund Me account is being set up by church family to assist with medical bills and expenses. The family truly appreciates the support they have felt throughout this difficult time.
