Jeannie's Med. Fund - 3rd surgery!

Hello,
I am Jeannie Couch, a wife, auntie and photographer. My story begins in 2014 when my husband lost his government contracting job to sequestration. Which is the US government telling contracting companies to downsize their businesses 18 - 22% just cause. My husband was one of 300 from his company alone. Thousands across the Washington DC area were let go so competition was and remains very high. My husband had a great work track record, high security clearance, many awards but he was never hired again. We believe, though it cannot be substaniated, it is or was because he is now in his late 60's. Companies seem to want only younger, cheaper employees. So he now works for Lowe's part time and we applied for our social security, that along with my photography jobs, we are barely getting by.
Then on July 12th, I fell and broke both my wrists! My left wrist is in a cast for 6 weeks and my right wrist, which took the brunt of my fall had to have surgery last week. I sit here typing with a finger from each hand and the weight of my casts is causing my arms to ache.
My Affordable Health Care was cancelled on the 21st of July and no matter how I asked it would not be reinstated until after my surgery, scheduled for July 28th. The reason, "We can only begin a new policy on the first of the month no exceptions." My surgeon would not delay surgery due to the natue of the broken bone. Now a week after my surgery, I am requesting help to raise money for my medical bills and to help with the loss of my photography income. For more about me you can visit my website at www.jeanniecouchphotography.com. I specialize in Scenics, wildflowers, turning your favorite pictures into digital paintings, and photo restoration. None of which I will be able to do for a few months. My income loss is about $800 - $1000 a month. Even if I was able to work my medical bills will be pretty much impossible to pay without help. So it was suggested to me to reach out to you. Funds are needed both "to keep the lights on" and pay the medical bills as they are pouring in.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart and know when I am able, both my husband and I will do our best to pay your generosity forward.
With deep appreciation,
Jeannie
