Supporting Our Family's Health and Financial Struggles

With great emotion, sadness, and a heavy heart, I reach out to you today. I find myself in a position where I must humbly ask for assistance in the form of financial support to help my family obtain the medical treatment and essential medications we desperately need.
The journey we have embarked upon has been filled with sorrow and hardships that I never anticipated. The depth of my emotions reached an unprecedented level when I witnessed my beloved wife being taken away from our home on a stretcher, bound for the emergency room. The words she later spoke to me still resonate deeply within my soul—she expressed uncertainty about whether she would make it through this ordeal. For the past six months, her strength has steadily waned, but I failed to fully grasp the severity of her condition, as she continued to soldier on, masking her pain. Taking more pills. We owe our gratitude to the medications we have, as they have provided some relief in the face of adversity.
I have always been a person who hesitated to ask for help, driven by pride or stubbornness. However, I find myself at a pivotal moment in my life where I am compelled to seek assistance through prayers and reaching out to kind-hearted individuals like yourself. I have witnessed the power of prayer in answering our pleas, and it is with hope and vulnerability that I type this message, seeking solace and aid.
Over the past five years, my wife's health has steadily declined. Signs of fatigue, pain, and anxiety have gradually worsened, culminating in her current state where she possesses the physical, mental, and emotional strength of an elderly woman in her eighties. The doctor told Esther, that literallt her life is leaving her body, bit by bit. While the health of my children and I have also deteriorated, it pales in comparison to the immense challenges my wife, Esther, endures each day. Countless doctors have been consulted, but ultimately Esther discovered thru a research paper online that it was mold illness. And then she learned of Doctor Hoffman who is an expert in the journey of recovery with mold illness.. It was through his expertise that we found a path to recovery.
When our original home was tested for mold, the results were shocking. Craig, the individual conducting the assessment, reached out to Esther to share the grave news that our house was the most severely contaminated he had ever encountered. The situation demanded swift action—we had to abandon everything. We relied on the generosity of my sister for several weeks, and then resided in a basement suite for several months. Eventually, we made the difficult decision to declare our previous home uninhabitable, selling it in order to purchase a new, mold-free residence. During this time, our expenses were manageable, as insurance coverage and savings helped alleviate the financial burden.
However, the exposure to mold triggered a condition known as MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) in all of us, exacerbating our health challenges.(this is like a auto-immune disorder) As a result, we are compelled to adhere to a strict dietary regimen for our survival. While I still maintain a somewhat diverse diet, my children face even stricter limitations. Tragically, Esther's options are now confined to consuming only chicken. It is obvious that relying on a single food source is detrimental to anyones overall well-being and poses long-term health risks.
Regrettably, due to our financial limitations, we have been unable to afford the necessary treatments for Esther's condition, including crucial IV therapies. In order to alleviate her symptoms, she has resorted to taking substantial amounts of a digestive enzyme called DAO², which enables her to tolerate the chicken and ensure proper digestion. Unfortunately, the expenses have become overwhelming, and we have been forced to accumulate debt and borrow money to meet our basic needs. Despite our best efforts to cut expenses, we find ourselves spending between $20,000 and $25,000 per month. (We have reduced the supplements we take and are mainly taking prescription medications now, to try reduce our costs as much as possible). Now that Esther has started her treatment required, we are spending more. We will have to spend an additional 2500-3000 per month to cover that all.
In this challenging time, it is not only Esther who requires assistance but also my children and myself. We all need access to the necessary medical treatments and tests to improve our health and well-being. However, due to financial constraints, we have been unable to provide them with the care they deserve. The longer we delay their treatments, the more severe and long-lasting the effects will be.
I am relying on faith and hope, seeking solace in the Lord's providence. I firmly believe that there are compassionate individuals like yourself who may be willing to extend a helping hand. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in our lives. I humbly ask you to consider donating to support our family's immense financial burden, enabling Esther and the children to receive the treatment they urgently need.
We are taking every possible step to address our financial situation. I am selling any extra assets that I possess and no longer need. Every small amount counts, even if it sometimes feels like selling a possession for a couple of hundred dollars barely makes a dent in the overall expenses. We are approaching this process cautiously and responsibly, ensuring that we make wise financial decisions.
The expenses we have outlined thus far do not even cover the medical needs of my children and myself. It is disheartening to acknowledge that we have been unable to provide them with the necessary tests and treatments. The weight of this reality is heavy, and it compels me to seek assistance and support wherever possible.
I trust in the kindness and empathy of others, and I have faith that there are individuals like yourself who understand the gravity of our situation and may be moved to contribute to our cause. Your generosity will not only help us secure the essential medications and treatments for Esther but also provide a glimmer of hope for our entire family. We are thankful for the help and support we have already received from friends and family. We will cherish the memory of your support.
In advance, I express my deepest gratitude for any assistance you can provide. Your compassion and support will be eternally cherished and remembered. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of my wife, children, and myself. May blessings abound for your kindness and may the hardships we endure become a testament to the strength of human empathy and solidarity.

PS all these funds will be going strictly for Esther's treatment initially, and the prescription drugs and pills we need. Once Esther starts to get better then it will go towards treatment for the kids and myself.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

With sincere appreciation,
Charles
