Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School

As the youngest comprehensive high school in Long Beach Unified School District and a school on the move that is making leaps and bounds inside and outside of the classrooms, it is a yearly struggle to finance and maintain all of the Associated Student Body (ASB) Student-Life Activities and our Sports Program.  We constantly find creative ways to fundraise.   As a urban high school, we do our share of fundraising.  We rely heavily on multiple and numerous smaller fundraising events throughout the year.   We have attempted to do large-scale fundraisers; however, we have not crossed that bridge yet.  When a large fundraiser isn't success, it sets us back. 

In the meanwhile, I, Tuan Nguyen the Activities Director, am hoping this message will bring in much needed funds for our entire student body.   I wish I could have said, "much needed extra funds."  As we tighten our belts, any monetary donation will be greatly appreciated.
