My name is Nick Miano and I would be humbled if you could find it in your heart to make a small donation to help may dad Robert Power and his wife Patricia Power.
Just a few days ago my dad sustained an injury that will hinder him from engaging in the simple pleasures in life that we might take for granted Like waking up and going to work. . My father is an amazing dad and a loving husband who works his ass off to provide for him and his wife Patty Power. it brings tears to my heart to think of the financial hardships that will arise from this accident and this is why I have started this page.
While working on a job and up on a very tall ladder, a loss of footing caused him to slip and fall 20+ feet. It's a miracle he has survived! However, It pains me to reiterate the severity of his injury. After being mercy flown to Erie County medical center and hours of uncertainty we were told he has severed the spinal cord in the base of his neck.
The meaning of the word paralyzed never fully resonates until you experience it happen to you or your closest loved ones. My father has no feeling from the chest down and will no longer be able to do the everyday things needed to provide for his family.
Take a second a look around you and imagine if this had happened to one of your loved ones. It is a very tough time for my family and they need your support.
Any money raised will be put toward his medical bills and used to help support them through their recovery.
