Help Aponi's Family
Donation protected
Many of you have asked what you can do to help my niece, Aponi (Anthony and Nadiyah's 7 month old baby girl) and her family as she fights infant botulism. The greatest need the family has right now (and the most difficult one for them to ask for) is financial help. Aponi's parents put all of their savings, along with vacation/sick time toward helping welcome Aponi into the world last September. They are both now taking unpaid leave from work in order to stay by Aponi's side at Children's Hospital. They expect to lose about $4500 worth of income this month which, as you might imagine, carries a huge amount of stress as they have no other income source to fall back on at the moment. I'm convinced that we, their extended family and friends, could help see them through this next month of bills so they can focus their total energy on being present with their family as Aponi gets through this scary ordeal. Will you make a donation to help? Whether $10 or $150, whatever you are able to give will be a big help. And, if you don't mind, share this with your friends on Facebook - no telling how many kind-hearted people might consider helping a great family in their hour of need! Aponi says, "Thanks for being part of my community!" It really does take a village, doesn't it?
