Homeless Artist Praying for Aid

      Hello, my name is Khiry Maxberry and I am a progressing musical artist who is currently homeless due to being told to leave my home by my parents. I love my parents with all of my heart but I have come to realize that being in their household was not the best living situation for myself at all given their unmoved opposition to me wanting to pursue music as a career.  To date, I have been homeless for nearly five months.
     I decided to share my story via 'gofundme' because as of recently, I have been living in a close friend's university dorm room. I know that my situation is a serious burden to him because he has even given his own bed to me and now he really does not have anywhere to call his own space anymore, but he never complains. Though I was able to find work after being kicked out and displaced, trying to continue to grow with my music career and managing to scrape up money for rent is extremely difficult as a 20 year old who can only manage to get a job at a pizza place. The little money I do get goes toward cheap meals to survive throughout the weeks and studio time to move myself away from this lifestyle. 
     I know that with love, faith, and god anything is possible and so I know that I can make it out of my situation. However, the recognition that I have gained from my music alone has not been enough to bring in any money and won't do so anytime in near future. This is why I am asking any and everyone to please find it in their hearts to donate what they may be able to. 
     I am begging for any and everyone to help and donate money, no matter the amount, so that I can put it towards a good cause. The $12,000 that I am asking for is just equivalent to rent, utilities, and food expenses in an apartment [close to my job due to me not having a car] over the course of one year and I would not ask for anything more. I would finally be able to get a place to live until I can  get back on my feet, sustain myself, and allow my good friend to finally have his room and his bed back. He has done so much for me in this short but critical time in my life and I just want to start finding a way to pay him back. 
    I am sincerely thankful and grateful for any donations that you can provide for myself and once I am on my feet, I plan to give back what has been gifted to me tenfold through my music and work. Thank you.
