Foster family fundraiser

Hi, my name is Leesa-Maree and I currently help out a local family who fosters teenagers.

Give Them A Chance’s mission statement “To help as many young people as possible.

To provide a dedicated, family home to teenagers who don’t have one.

To give them what is every child’s right - a home environment that offers love, respect and boundaries.

We want to break the cycle of abuse and addiction.

To provide an alternative solution to foster group homes.”

My aim is to raise enough money to purchase a Thermomix for the family to have in their home. Making meals for 10 people every day makes the kitchen very busy! Having this amazing machine will help make mealtime a little easier and get the teens involved in making and creating meals for the whole family. There’s a minimum of 6 foster teens at anyone one time.

Some weekends the family expands to cater for emergency foster and those who like to return just to check in.

Gary and Lisa are amazing parents and their family are inspiring and beautiful.
