Louie the Greek: Funeral Service

My name is Tony Leontaris, I am son of Louis and Joanna Leontaris and brother to Alexander Leontaris. My father was ill, yet against the flow of his positive recovery he suddenly passed away. Louis was a tremendous character with an amazing heart. He could be heard at my local high school soccer matches cheering on my teammates and me with his thick Greek accent. He was an outstanding chef with a unique talent for flavor, cooking things from traditional Greek cuisine to sweet potatoes and marshmallows. He engrained in my brother and me what it meant to be a man, to always watch over one another, and to treat everyone with dignity and respect. He was an extremely loving husband and Father and I fondly remember the many times he went out of his way to make the family happy, even if it was something as simple as bringing home fresh rice pudding every Friday for us. I am raising funds to pay for the cost of my Father's service and funeral. My mother now solely supports my brother and me, both current college students. Sadly, we are unable to afford the proper funeral my Father deserves. Thank you for all the support you can give us and for your kindness. We will miss him very much. God bless!
