Cancer Medical Expenses

Donation protected
We are reaching out to family and friends in this time of urgency for Mike Alleman’s medical issues.   In 2021 he was diagnosed with colon cancer. It was removed and he finished his chemo treatments and began living life again along working/driving his truck (which was a passion for him) that he’s been doing for over 52 years! Our mother Glenda also joined him for many years team driving cross country. In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer which prevented her from driving with him. In April he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and was told that surgery wasn’t an option due to the placement. Chemotherapy was the only option to stop the growth. He had three more treatments to go and was fighting sickness from the chemo. In this time, he became very week and fell, needing to be rushed to the hospital since his head had lacerations and he was on blood thinners. The hospital applied sutures to his head and he was sent home. Then he began having symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. The doctors just assumed it was because of the chemo and treated that. He fell again on July 23 in the house and mom brought him to the hospital. They ran test and could not find anything, but his blood results shown differently. Ten days into his hospital stay they brought in another doctor and that one found out he had E-coli. The E-coli caused damage in his small intestines. On August 3rd at 10:30pm he started yelling and grabbing his abdomen. They did scans and noticed it had ruptured. My brother and I were called into the hospital at 3:30am. The doctor advised us that he needed surgery asap. There was the possibility he might die with the surgery because of him being on blood thinners, but it was definite if he didn’t. They only way they could have surgery was to have the lab provide additives to run through his system to allow the blood to clot while undergoing surgery. He made it through surgery however, he is fighting for his life. He has multiple things going on at this time and the doctors are trying numerous things to get him out of the hospital to a rehabilitation facility, but that won’t happen anytime soon. Thank you for your support in this trying time. The Alleman Family
