Ember Chapman's medical expenses
Donation protected
I am asking for donations to help 5 year old Ember's medical bills and to help with expenses for her parents to be able to stay with her at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Ember started to spike temperatures of 104 along with vomiting on Sept 9, 2016 and was taken to ER. On Sept 11 she returned to the Dr's office showing no signs of improvement. X-rays were taken and she was diagnosed with pneumonia, strep, and a double ear infection. She was sent home again with antibiotics.
On Sept 18 new X-rays were taken and things had gotten worse and was sent to IU Health Arnett, Lafayette, IN. She was given 7 different antibiotics, none helped. Her pneumonia now worsened causing fluid build up around her lungs and in her chest cavity.
Ember was sent to Riley's. The fluid continued to build up in her chest. On Sept 27 a procedure was done to insert a chest tube to drain fluid and to be able to inject medicine directly into her chest. Specialist have studied her case and do not understand why she is not improving.
Ember is is one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. A year ago she donated her beautiful long hair so that some other child could have hair! That sums up what my beautiful niece is like!
Please find in your heart away to pray for Ember and her family. Please help fund Ember and her families needs!
