FURGERSON, Robert Paul. September 22, 2016. Age 45. Beloved husband of Kellie for twenty years. Loving father of Mackenzie and Kennedy. Dear brother of Kelly (Mike) Seitz. Beloved son-in-law of Marilyn and Gary Hanson and brother-in-law of Kim (Robert) Schrauben and Kari Hanson. Loved by niece Aspyn Seitz and nephews Matt, Kyle, Douglas, and Camden. Survived by aunts Michelle Rogowski and Gina Ray. Predeceased by parents Douglas and Jacqueline Furgerson. Rob loved his family dearly and spent much of his time with them. Rob would brighten every room he entered, always serving others and willing to help anyone who needed a hand. He rescued many animals as well. Rob also had a passion for sailing and reading Stephen King novels. He made many cherished memories with his family while boating on Orchard Lake, and on their many vacations together. Rob was a member of St. Andrew Church. He worked in Commercial/Residential Landscaping. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4pm, 6-8pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., in downtown Rochester. Instate Friday 11:30am until the time of 12:00pm service at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave, Rochester. Interment to follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery, 4701 N. Rochester Rd.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kellie for the girls education fund.    Mackenzie is 17 years old and already working on college applications.  She has a bright future - honor student and very active in sports and the student organization.  Kenzie has Kellie's spirt, if you know her, you know what I mean!    Kennedy is 13 and is also very smart, active in theatre and sports, with a kind soul just like her daddy.    Kellie &  Rob have been my friends for 17 years and there marriage was to be admired. xoxox Tracie
