Cheri , is my best friend that was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma (Breast Cancer) on August 27 2016. The news was devastating and still is to this day. She has lots of support from family and friends but still finds it hard to cope with. It's so hard on your mind and body. At times she asks "why me?" Only God knows why. This is just the beginning of a very long journey that will consist of surgery...... she will be having a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction then possible radiation therapy and chemo. She is trying to stay positive and pray but has been so overwhelmed with the news and lots of Doctor and hospital visits.That she hasn't been able to work. She is going to need all her family and friends to support her now more than ever! Cheri is a mother, daughter, Grandma, stepmother and an inspiration. Cheri is very family oriented, and when you are her friend, you are her family. Now is the time to show her our love and Support .
