As most of you know, Chris was involved in a wrecker accident on Friday, February 2 at approximately 8:00p.m. His wrecker first collided with rocks and a concrete culvert and then struck a live power pole and multiple trees, causing it to stop. Lifestar responded to the scene and he was transported to UT Medical Center and placed in the Trauma Surgical ICU. His Injuries were extensive and included 17 broken and displaced ribs, a punctured and bruised lung, laceration to the left elbow, and a ventilator placement. He underwent a six-hour surgery February 5 to repair the 10 ribs on his left side and the following day, his ventilator was removed. His recovery thus far has been remarkable.

Several of you have graciously offered to help us during this stressful time, and we can’t express how much we have relied upon your prayers and support during this time. If anyone would like to contribute to the GoFundMe we have created, those funds will be used to continue to pay for travel, hotel, bills, and hospital expenses for the family as the healing process continues.
