Ellie Strong

As many of you know Ellie was born as a micro-preemie and was put through quite a few experiences in her first few months of life..... fast forward to now, not even two and she is facing her toughest battle yet. On May 3, 2019 Ellie was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma-a rare eye cancer that occurs in children. Ellie will undergo 4-8 chemo treatments, first one starting next week-after the chemo treatments are finished they will determine if the tumor is responding to treatment, if it does not Ellie will have surgery to remove her one eye. Jess and Jay live in St. Augustine, however there are no doctors in their immediate area that treat this cancer, they will spend the next several weeks driving six hours each way to and from Miami every couple of weeks and staying three days at a time in a hotel. The purpose of this go fund me is to help them focus on Ellie and her treatments and relieve some of their financial strain they will feel with the constant hotel stays, the gas to get to and from appointments, and eating out all the time.
