Help Ms Mona Foster Treatment Kids

Donation protected
Within a year and a half of losing Dad, the day after learning of Mom's passing I learned I was losing my livelihood of 14 years plus my residence.  This was followed up by my first broken bone the day I moved into my new apartment and a lengthy illness.  The good news is that through all this I came to find life's purpose and worked diligently to complete the training for licensure to become a Treatment Foster Parent.

My goal and desire is to love and foster Alaska Native children with mental illness and/or neglect, abuse issues, ect., specifically.

Due to the life challenges previously mentioned, I was unable to work and save the money needed to move into an apartment suitable for foster children and do the necessary repairs to my 1997 Nissan Sentra, such as seat belts for the kiddos.  My name has come up with Cook Inlet Housing, but I am #1283 on Alaska Housing voucher list and my case is schedule for review in December of 2017.

I have a detailed budget, but in a nutshell, I need assistance, with the deposits (first and last months rents plus security deposit), utility deposits, lock boxes for meds, first aid kits,  utility deposits, actual moving expenses (I have two  8' X 20' storage rooms full).

This humbles me to the greatest extent to have to ask for help.  You know this is not my nature to ask for help, however, I really do need your help in order to do what I feel is my job - to help our most vulnerable children have a better chance at life.  Thanking you in advance for whatever you are able to give.  Hugs to you, MM.
