It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Jim Mejury of Midland Park, NJ who died on Friday, August 26th 2016 at age 74. As many know, Jim was diagnosed with advanced cancer in April of 2015. He fought his battle with courage, strength, resiliency and an unwavering positive attitude, all without complaint.
Jim was a magical soul who loved life. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a song in his heart. Jim was a friend to all and was happy to lend a hand whenever he could be helpful. He was always present in the moment and truly lived life to the fullest. He was an incredible man who touched the lives of so many. Since coming to Bergen County in 1965 he was involved in almost every facet of the community - sports, school, scouting and theater. Jim was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He will be missed tremendously.
